The warlords march against Dong Zhuo. After Dong Zhuo burns down the palaces of Luoyang and forces the Han emperor west to Chang'an, Cao Cao pursues him with his troops. Zhang Yang chooses to join them, starting out by chasing Dong Zhuo alongside Cao Cao.

After the pursuit, Zhang Yang activates the Territory System and decides to recruit worthy people from across the realm, stockpile grain, and build high walls!

Returning to his new territory in Henei Commandery, Zhang Yang raises troops and recruits talent such as Zhang Liao, Chen Gong, and Chang Lin. He develops the economy and military, builds an arsenal, and creates various special forces.

In 192, Dong Zhuo dies, and the warlords fall out with one another, casting greedy eyes on the lands around them.
