Great Ming: Zhu Xiongying Asks Empress Ma to Ascend the Throne

After transmigrating, Zhu Xiongying becomes the eight-year-old eldest legitimate grandson of the Ming dynasty.

But Zhu Xiongying is not happy at all.

There's just one reason: the history of the Hongwu era is far too strange.

The Crown Princess, Chang, dies young at twenty-four.

The secondary consort, Lady Lü, is elevated to the principal wife, while the second legitimate grandson, Zhu Yun Tong, is ruined by indulgence.

Zhu Xiongying is struck down by smallpox with uncanny precision and dies.

Even the virtuous Empress Ma, renowned through the ages, dies far too early.

And the illegitimate son, Zhu Yunwen, somehow miraculously ascends the throne...

There are far too many coincidences. This must be a massive conspiracy.

Yet his imperial grandfather, Zhu Yuanzhang, seems completely unaware, which makes no sense.

Zhu Xiongying can't just sit around and wait to die. From the start, he takes Crown Princess Lü hostage, exposes the conspiracy in front of the entire court, and kills her.

A grave crisis of trust erupts between the Huai-Xi nobles and Zhu Yuanzhang and his sons.

Zhu Xiongying urges his imperial grandmother, Ma Xiuying, to ascend the throne and become emperor.
