Starting as the Gold Saint of the Purple Dragon

Beneath the vast canopy of stars, one name rang out like thunder: Shiryu. A disciple of the Rozan school in Saint Seiya, he was famed throughout the world for his unbreakable will and formidable fighting prowess.

One of the five Bronze Saints serving Athena, Shiryu repeatedly demonstrated the might of the Dragon Shield, the strongest shield among the eighty-eight constellations. He was also known for his distinctive green Cloth.

Shiryu's Dragon Shield once withstood the attacks of the twelve Gold Saints, yet it was shattered more than once. Even so, that never stopped him from becoming a hero in the hearts of countless fans.
