I'm Just a Farmer, and You Want Me to Challenge the Demon King?

In an age overrun by monsters, even farmers have to take up their hoes and fight for their lives. When they turn 15, everyone must sign a contract with a goddess, receive the class and skills she bestows, and begin their own adventure.

The young Feng Xie eagerly signs a contract alongside his childhood friend, Tia. But Tia is chosen as a "Hero," while Feng Xie gets the most unremarkable class of all: "Farmer." Worse still, he is saddled with an almost hopeless buff: "Leveling speed reduced to one percent of normal."

As Tia leaves the village as a Hero to embark on her journey and challenge monsters, Feng Xie refuses to fall behind. Wearing a straw hat, gripping a sickle, wearing bamboo sandals, and wrapped in a straw raincoat, he throws his head back and cries, "Today, I'm going to finish harvesting this damn wheat no matter what!" Though he gets off to a rough start, he gradually discovers that the seemingly useless buff is the key to turning his fate around and becoming the strongest in the world!
