Getting the Whole County into Online Lending to Build the Richest County in the World

Wang Hongyu is reborn in 2014, the year predatory online lending began to take off.

From the start, he gets a debt-collection call from an illegal online lender. It turns out his childhood friend took out a loan and missed payments. The lender has exposed his contacts and wants Wang Hongyu to tell his friend to pay up.

In his previous life, the exorbitant upfront fees and late penalties charged by illegal online lenders drove his family to ruin.

So, bent on revenge, Wang Hongyu starts getting everyone in the county to take out online loans, while collecting service fees along the way.

"What do you mean these online loans are illegal? You don't have to pay them back. Hurry up and tell me how to get one."

"Hey, they all borrowed two million. Why did I only borrow one million? This is so frustrating!"

When debt collectors show up with funeral wreaths to demand payment, they're immediately surrounded.

Hundreds of people glare at them, clubs in hand. "You came through our village. You have to pay a toll to get through."

That's outrageous! Call the police!

The officer just grins at the debt collectors who called the police. "Your online loans are illegal. There's nothing we can do."

That's because everyone at the station, along with their relatives and friends, has taken out online loans.

Wang Hongyu earns the nickname King of Loan Scamming and leads the whole county to prosperity.
