Eight-Year-Old Screenwriter Turns Boonie Bears into a Horror Movie

Zhao Zimo transmigrates into Wang Yue, a third-grade elementary school student.

Using his informational advantage, he creates a hit short-form series with nothing but toy figurines as the main characters and quickly makes a name for himself.

His original short-form series draws huge traffic, so he is invited to compete in the first online screenwriting contest.

Everyone bursts out laughing when they see that Wang Yue is only eight years old.

But when he sees that the contest prompt is to adapt Boonie Bears, Wang Yue gets a mischievous idea.

His opponents are either exceptionally talented or long-established names.

If he writes a conventional adaptation, he has no chance at all!

Now he can only take an unconventional approach!

Who says an adaptation can't make things up as it goes?

Boonie Bears is about the bears appearing in Bear Ridge. Does it have to be a cartoon? Why not make it a horror movie?

By normal logic, isn't Bear Ridge dangerous with two bears roaming around?

Why not build an entire Bear Ridge universe?

A world full of beast-men, werewolves, and impostors?

Everyone is left dumbfounded.

Can you really do that?

Whoa, why do I suddenly really want to watch it...
