Song Yaoyu is taken from "I was drunk, clapped my hands and sang wildly, raised my glass to invite the moon, and became three guests in the shadows" by Su Shi's Miannu Jiao Mid-Autumn Festival. Born in a family that favors sons over daughters, Song Yaoyu grew up precocious and recognized her parents clearly. Because of her lack of nostalgia for her family, Song Yaoyu never came back after she was admitted to university. When he was successful in his career, he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer and went to the Netherlands for euthanasia.
When Song Yaoyu regained consciousness, she was already the unborn apple of the Song family in Kyoto.
