The protagonist, Kalle, was an ordinary hunter until he accidentally wandered into a forbidden place and was struck by a mysterious werewolf curse. As the wildness within him gradually awakened, he was swept into ancient wars and conflicts: infighting among the werewolf clans, human hunters hunting werewolves, and a dark force lurking deeper still.
Amid the intertwining of blood and love, Kalle gradually uncovered the true origins of the werewolves and confronted the entanglements of his past and present lives.
