Reborn as a Husky

I only have one chapter left to finish my thesis... At three in the morning, in his rented apartment, Wang Ming stared at his computer screen with bloodshot eyes, his fingers mechanically tapping away at the keyboard. A few empty coffee cups lay scattered across the desk beside the first draft of his thesis, covered in notes. Suddenly, a violent headache struck. No... I have to finish before dawn... He struggled to stay awake, but his vision grew increasingly blurry. A buzzing sound filled his ears, as if countless insects were shrieking inside his head. What... what's happening to me...? In his final moment of consciousness, he saw his face slam hard against the keyboard. Darkness. He had no idea how much time passed before a chill seeped up from beneath him. The icy sensation jolted him awake. As his awareness returned, Wang Ming noticed countless things that felt wrong. First, his point of view was strangely low, as if he were lying on the ground. Then there was his body: he could clearly feel himself standing on all fours, and... fur? Are these... paws? He lowered his head to look at his hands, only to see a paw covered in white and gray fur.
