Shocking! My System Is a Self-Serving Egoist

This is a story of a good person gradually turning evil, and a road to redemption, as the saying goes:

Lead a decent woman astray, and persuade a harlot to go straight.

The System loads from the start, and the protagonist discovers that he is the only individual of his kind across the multiverse. His orange talent lets him inherit the talents of protagonist counterparts who have died in other dimensions.

He also gains a special status in which the misfortune of death follows him. Every time he survives a deadly calamity, the next one he faces will be even more intense.

The System, meanwhile, is the capitalist sort, hoping to use the protagonist to absorb the energy released by misfortune.

Then, after transmigrating into the first world, he is shocked to discover that he has arrived in the world of Tomie, created by Junji Ito, giving him the drive to press onward.

The protagonist encounters Tomie Kawakami and is bewitched by her. Under Tomie's influence, he falls in love with her. Then, after going mad and dismembering her,

the System takes him away to another world. The protagonist refuses to leave out of love and threatens to kill himself. As he is on the verge of death, the System has no choice but to leave him of its own accord.
