A Single Withering

In youth, full of passion, sword in hand, I roamed the world, righting every wrong. I went where my heart desired.

In middle age, I raised my voice and led the people in resisting tyranny. The people's wishes became my own path.

In my declining years, I sat alone on a high platform and watched the world change. You wanted me to go, so I had no choice but to go.

I stole a glimpse into reincarnation, seeing flowers through the mist. Only then did I know I am me, and he is he. What a joke! What a joke!
