Great Ming: An Offensive Censor, Leaving Old Zhu Stunned

During the Hongwu era, Ma Wencai transmigrates!

From the start, he reunites with Empress Ma and becomes her nephew.

He also binds to the Censor System. As long as he impeaches officials and submits memorials of remonstrance, he earns rewards.

And so Ma Wencai, the son of one of the Ming Dynasty's most powerful officials, transforms into the scourge of the imperial court.

Ma Wencai: "I impeach Yang Xian. He harbors treasonous ambitions, brazenly commits treachery, and has a long record of misdeeds in his governance of Yangzhou!"

The next day, Yang Xian is taken away by the Embroidered Uniform Guard.

Ma Wencai: "I impeach Hu Weiyong for embezzlement, abusing his power, and forming cliques for personal gain."

That very night, Hu Weiyong's entire clan is arrested.

The officials in court tremble with fear. This censor is way too aggressive!

Stop impeaching people, spare our lives!

Just as Zhu Yuanzhang is feeling pleased with himself and considering promoting Ma Wencai, Ma Wencai steps out of the ranks of officials:

"I impeach Your Majesty for indulging in women and lingering in the imperial harem!"

Zhu Yuanzhang is instantly stunned! What the hell, you even dare impeach me???

Ma Wencai: Uncle, what's wrong with me impeaching you?

Zhu Yuanzhang: Nothing, nothing at all!!
