Pokemon Trainer: I Started Out Alongside Ash

Yuezhi was a ninth-grade student when he was suddenly transmigrated while playing a game.

I can't believe I'm the same age as Ash.

As a relatively older Trainer, already the ripe old age of fifteen, he was also a promising candidate selected by Professor Oak and recognized as worthy of setting out on a journey to collect Pokédex data.

Knowing the story and the game inside out, Yuezhi knew that the early stages were full of opportunities. Getting to compete alongside Ash, a member of the Eight Masters, and grow together was a rare chance.

Only by giving it everything he had and working hard could he stand out.

The world of Pokémon was far from perfect. Being a Trainer wasn't a prestigious career, and they weren't actually held in high regard.
