You Guarded the Border for Ten Years, and Now You Accuse Me of Colluding with the Yellow Turbans?

Modern man Liu Hao accidentally travels back to the late Eastern Han Dynasty and becomes the illegitimate son of Emperor Ling of Han, Liu Hong.

Unfavored by the court, he is named Prince of Yan at fourteen and sent to his fief in Bingzhou to guard the Han frontier.

During ten years guarding the border, Liu Hao retakes the four commanderies of Yunzhong and conquers the Hetao region, earning renown throughout the land.

A dashing young man in fine clothes, there is no one in Han who does not know the Prince of Bingzhou.

That is, until 184 AD.

A Daoist steps onto a platform and cries out, raising his arms: "The Blue Heaven is dead! The Yellow Heaven shall rise!"

Because Liu Hao accepts the Yellow Turban Army as law-abiding citizens, he is accused of colluding with the Yellow Turbans and plotting to usurp the throne.

As soon as news of his alleged collusion spreads, the whole realm denounces Liu Hao.

Forces from every side join in, determined to strip this illegitimate son of any chance to compete for the throne.

The court orders the Prince of Yan to return to the capital and answer for his crimes. His soldiers urge him to rebel. Just as Liu Hao hesitates, the Summon Heroes System binds itself to him.

"Since you all say I intend to rebel, then today, I shall rebel!"
