Ranger's Daily Life: From the Start, a Golden Tabby Cub Won't Leave Me Alone

After graduating from college, Su Li lucked into finding a jade pendant.

With it, he could turn ordinary water into spirit water and gain the affection of animals.

He'd planned to work quietly as a forest ranger on Ailao Mountain, while growing crops and starting a small farm on the side.

But before he even started the job, he ran into a masked palm civet stealing dragon fruit.

On his first day patrolling the forest, he found an abandoned golden-shaded kitten.

On the second day, he encountered a black bear stealing clothes.

On the third day...

As his work got underway, more and more animals began following Su Li around.

Golden eagles, stump-tailed macaques, yellow-throated martens, red foxes, leopard cats, white-bellied pheasants...

The villagers at the foot of the mountain were green with envy: Are you a forest ranger or an animal keeper?
