Imported Drugs Cost a Fortune. What Do Generic Drugs Have to Do with Me?

College student Lu Yan transmigrates to a parallel world and inherits a bankrupt pharmaceutical factory.

"I was just heading to my early-morning class. How did I end up in India?!"

After recovering from his shock,

he realizes he's in a "lawless land" with weak patent protections, drinking "clean and hygienic" Ganges water. Then he unexpectedly activates the Ultimate God of Medicine System.

All he has to do is break down an original drug to obtain its patent and manufacturing formula!

"Fifty thousand yuan for a box of imported medicine? That's outrageous!"

"You keep selling monopolized drugs and refuse to lower prices? You've already made several times your costs, and you still won't get them covered by medical insurance? Then don't blame me for stepping in!"

Looking at the world's monopolized drugs with astronomical price tags, Lu Yan launches his generics plan.

He opens up a path to developing and selling affordable, effective generic medicines around the world.

The pharmaceutical giants around the world glare at him furiously, while patients everywhere look on with gratitude.

Lu Yan quietly lets others take the credit.

Reporter: Mr. Lu, what do you think of the international pharmaceutical giants accusing you of illegally copying patented drugs?

Lu Yan: Sorry, I don't understand. Manufacturing generic drugs isn't illegal where we are!
