Great Ming: The Peerless Prince, So Awesome Even Old Zhu Says So

Zhu Yang transmigrates to the Ming dynasty and becomes King Yu, the fifteenth son of Zhu Yuanzhang. But this prince, who never existed in history, has a rather poor reputation in the Ming court. Not only is he foolish and slow-witted, he has also failed to win the emperor's favor.

Then, one day.

Smack!

Zhu Yang suddenly has a moment of clarity. He leaves Song Lian utterly dumbfounded, and even Old Zhu becomes convinced that his family has been blessed with a heaven-sent prodigy.

And so Zhu Yang's butterfly wings begin to stir up one change after another in the Ming dynasty.

"Father Emperor, Hu Weiyong is a treacherous, ambitious man with evil intentions. We cannot let him remain in power!"

An investigation confirms that Hu Weiyong deceived his superiors and subordinates and plotted a rebellion. His property is confiscated, and his entire clan is executed.

"Father Emperor, Li Shanchang has long since lost his loyalty to you and harbors evil designs. He is no worthy minister."

An investigation confirms that Li Shanchang abused his office for personal gain and built a faction for his own benefit. His property is confiscated, and he is exiled.

"Father Emperor, Lan Yu is an arrogant and overbearing general with a headstrong army..."

"Investigate him."

Before long, institutions from later eras, such as the cabinet and the Grand Council, appear ahead of their time, and the Ming dynasty enters the strongest era of any dynasty in a thousand years...
