Dark Journey to the West: Corruption and the Asura Heavenly Dao

When Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing set out on their journey west to obtain the scriptures, their fates are repeatedly torn apart by the Heavenly Dao, all as part of a conspiracy. The true purpose of the pilgrimage is not to save all living beings, but to preserve the Heavenly Dao's rotten order. Yet when Sun Wukong awakens a dark power beneath the Five Elements Mountain and discovers the truth behind it all, the fates of the four master and disciples are turned upside down.

They are chosen ones, yet also rebels abandoned by the Heavenly Dao. Falling into darkness and casting off their sins, they embark on a path of revenge to destroy the Heavenly Dao and delve into the heart of the world. Gods and Buddhas, demons and monsters all make their entrances, and friend and foe are hard to tell apart. Every step brings bloodshed and chaos, as faith crumbles.
