Sword Snow Stride: Turmoil in Nanzhao

After three years of wandering, Xiao Beixuan, heir to the throne of Nanzhao, returns. He seems carefree and irreverent, but in truth, he is a man with a deep plan.

By order of his father, Xiao Han, he is to marry Qing Luo. But he secretly sets his plans in motion, using Chen Qingzhi's feelings for Xu Weixiong to send him to Western Shu. At the same time, he orders Chu Lushan to secretly contact the old forces of Nanzhao, preparing to take over the kingdom in the future.

Xiao Beixuan is ambushed by Zhao Xun in a reed marsh. With the help of Sword God Li Chunfeng, he survives and becomes his disciple, learning the Two-Sleeved Green Snakes and greatly increasing his strength.

Later, Xiao Beixuan forces his way into the Qintian Observatory to seek justice for Old Ye. He also practices martial arts with Nangong Wenya at Listening Tide Pavilion, and the two gradually fall for each other. After Xiao Han dies of illness, Xiao Beixuan officially succeeds him as King of Nanzhao. Facing the immense pressure of a Beiliang invasion, he puts Xu Beizhi and Chen Xiliang in important positions, reforms the military, and devises a strategy. In the great Liang-Beiliang war, he overcomes the odds and ultimately drives back Beiliang, protecting Nanzhao.

Yet Xiao Beixuan knows that the Liyang court is wary of Nanzhao, while various factions in the martial world eye it covetously. Greater challenges lie ahead.

In the end, Xiao Beixuan gives up the throne of Nanzhao and goes into seclusion in the martial world with Qing Luo, Nangong Wenya, and the others, living a carefree life.
