Honestly, I Can Lie to You

Let's be reasonable. I'm not lying to you.

Sincerity is my motto. With honesty in my left hand and trustworthiness in my right, I'm Li Xin.

I make perfect sense.

"The cow died in the pasture, and there was no grass on the ground. That's because the cow ate the grass, so it died. By the same logic, cows eat grass, which is why there's no grass on the ground!"

"I see!" The farmer slowly nodded. "Boy, stand right there. Don't move. I'm going to get my tractor and run you over."

Damn, he ate my cow, stole my grass, and still has the nerve to mess with me.

Li Xin said helplessly, "I'm really not lying. It's a cow, and eating grass is biologically normal. What else would it eat, elixirs?"

Rumble... The tractor started up.

Li Xin begged, "Old geezer, don't push it. Believe me, I can kill you with a star!"

The farmer shifted the gear forward. "Heh, I don't believe you."

Snap!

The sound of fingers snapping spread across the pasture.

From beyond the myriad heavens, a star came.

Li Xin murmured, "Let's be reasonable. Would I lie to you?"
