Seasonal Envoy: A Fool Who Deceives the World

The uncanny invades, and ghosts roam by night.

This is a world belonging to the Seasonal Envoys. Stars glitter in the sky, and the solar terms awaken.

Those who awaken to Jingzhe summon the first thunder of spring, wielding every form of lightning magic.

Those who awaken to Qingming kneel before their ancestors' graves, then let the spirits possess them.

Those who awaken to the Ghost Festival fling open the gates of the underworld, and all ghosts heed their summons.

“The truth of the world is nothing but a joke. The ultimate meaning of all things exists within a false world. The universe is merciless, yet joy can dispel pain, ease sorrow, resist nothingness, and heal wounds. Laughter is the birthright of intelligent beings, the one and only answer!”

“I, an ordinary fool, have woven a false web around this world. Who is the spider outside the web, and who is the insect trapped within? Who can say for sure? Please, do your best to entertain me! Uncanny beings, ghosts, or even ordinary people clinging to life!”

A man wearing a clown mask stands atop the last remaining tower in a ruined world and opens his arms. “Welcome to the Fool's World!!!”
