You Were Asked to Write Horror, But You Wrote Daoist Gu Instead?

Xu Cheng accidentally transmigrates to a parallel world and discovers that he is taking part in a writing competition.

Contestants have to create a story based on a prompt given by the show.

When the show's first prompt is "The Uncanny,"

other writers are racking their brains for strange folk tales and ghost stories,

when a line suddenly pops into Xu Cheng's head:

"I can't tell them apart. I really can't tell them apart!"

"No, these are fake. All of these are fake. This Daoist has made it! I've made it!"

After Xu Cheng writes all of this down, the audience is stunned and the director is dumbfounded!

Audience member one: Why do I feel like I can't tell reality from dreams either?

Audience member two: I can't tell them apart either. I really can't tell anymore!

Director: He didn't even write anything uncanny, so why does everything feel so uncanny?

And when Xu Cheng finally brings the Zuowang Dao into his story, the whole venue erupts!
