Welcome, Chosen One: I'm a Big Shot in Journey to the West

"Who are you, to dare trespass on Flower-Fruit Mountain and bully Old Sun?" The man wore Golden Chainmail Armor and a Phoenix-Winged Purple-Gold Crown, and held a gleaming golden staff. He stood in a commanding pose, like a god descended from heaven.

"Y-You're Sun Wukong?" Li Xiaoyao asked in astonishment. The description of Sun Wukong from the book came to mind: the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, with boundless magical powers.

"That's right, it's Old Sun!" Sun Wukong said. He turned to look at the demons sprawled on the ground, groaning in pain, and a fierce glint flashed in his eyes. "You wicked beasts! Instead of cultivating properly, you dare go out and wreak havoc. Just you wait, Old Sun will beat you until your souls are scattered!"

When the demons saw that it was Sun Wukong, they were terrified out of their wits and scrambled away. Sun Wukong did not chase after them. He merely snorted and put away his Golden Cudgel.

"Thank you, Great Sage, for saving my life!" Li Xiaoyao struggled to his feet and bowed deeply to Sun Wukong.
