In the world of Journey to the West, Wukong devotes himself to protecting Tang Sanzang on his quest for the scriptures. He suffers the Eighty-One Tribulations along the way, endures the social maneuvering of the Celestial Court, and has to put up with Tang Sanzang's bleeding heart!

All he wants is to return to Flower-Fruit Mountain and live carefree with his monkey kin!

But when he sees the story of Black Myth, he completely breaks down!

The circlet is never removed from his head! In the end, he can only become six Relics, leaving hope for those who come after him!

The Celestial Court goes so far as to raze Flower-Fruit Mountain and slaughter every last monkey to control him!

His junior brother Bajie has a daughter he cannot acknowledge!

Fourth Sister, who devoted herself to helping the Destined One, is turned into an elixir by Crane Immortal!

His brother, the Bull Demon King, is left with his family torn apart by the Celestial Court!

So it turns out the Celestial Court was behind it all!

Wukong tears the scriptures to pieces in a fury. "I got the scriptures, and they still want to kill my monkey kin? This old Sun won't fetch these scriptures anymore! What does it matter if I turn the Celestial Court upside down again!"
