The Pacific: My Backyard Is a Naval Port

Qin Tian transmigrates into the body of Fletcher, a World War II aircraft carrier commander, bringing with him a mysterious Absolute Acceleration System. During the Battle of Wake Island, the US military rushes to the rescue at incredible speed. In the Battle of the Coral Sea, repairs and resupply are sped up, giving the Americans an extra full wave of attacks and allowing them to sink the Shokaku. But several ships age so quickly that they have to be sent in for major overhauls.

The F6F, Essex-class carriers, and even the Montana and Midway enter service ahead of schedule.

Congressman: Admiral Fletcher, you want more funding again? Are you building supersonic aircraft carriers this time?

Chuichi Nagumo: Even though the Yamato and Super Yamato entering service gives us an advantage in firepower, how can American carriers cover 200 nautical miles in an hour?

Fletcher to MacArthur: Let the Japanese capture you and make a monkey out of you.

To Nimitz: You'd better stick to being Director of Intelligence. I'll command the fleet.

Halsey and Spruance: Sir, the intelligence reports and coffee are ready. When are we turning our warships into time machines?

Fletcher: I just want to build submarines that can fly underwater.

After the war, Fletcher declared, I know everyone in Tokyo. And please, call me the Emperor Emeritus of Tokyo!
