Guangxu Fifteenth Year

Wedge Every time I read the Reform Movement of 1898, I hate Empress Dowager Cixi and sympathize with Emperor Guangxu. Then when I read the words of Empress Dowager Cixi during the Eight-Nation Allied Forces' invasion of China, "Measure China's material resources and gain the happiness of the country", I wanted to kill Cixi as soon as possible. So, I had an idea. If the Empress Dowager Cixi was killed, would Emperor Guangxu's reforms be successful? Can China become prosperous and strong from this and avoid so many sufferings in modern times? With this idea in mind, I created this story. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
