Great Qin: You Were Told to Rule as Regent, So Why Are You Becoming an Emperor for the Ages?

218 BC!

To rein in Fusu, Ying Zheng ordered his sixth son, Ying Que, to govern the empire in his stead during his third tour.

Unexpectedly, the young man proved exceptionally capable.

He cared for the people, punished evildoers, upheld Qin law, and supported the prefecture system!

But... as Ying Zheng watched his son govern, something began to feel wrong!

Baiyue was conquered, Tuan was conquered, and the Xiongnu were conquered!

As report after report arrived, Ying Zheng was stunned.

"Why haven't I heard a single thing about military or state affairs?"

Ying Zheng was still reeling when, a few months later, Zhao Gao hurried in with a report:

"Someone at court has called the Sixth Prince Ying Que an emperor for the ages!"

When the news reached him, Ying Zheng could no longer sit still.

"If he's an emperor for the ages, then what am I? What does that make me?"
