One Sword, Half a Blade, One Man, One Sect

His master said, "In this martial world, you can see neither the pure spirit of martial artists nor the grandeur of blades and swords clashing. You cannot see beautiful women with eyes like distant mountains veiled in mist. When the wind rises, no clear songs ring from pearly teeth, cooling even the sea of flames. How dull."

The protagonist, Han Tuizhi, is the orphaned son of a general from the previous dynasty. After eleven kingdoms fought through years of chaos, the realm is now divided into three. Han Tuizhi was born after his father's country was defeated and annexed by Nanheng of Shu. Nanheng holds the Shu region, while Beicang in the north faces off against Nanchu. The balance of power has begun to take shape.

By a twist of fate, Han Tuizhi becomes the final disciple of Xie Lingjiang, the last sword slave of the Sword Mound. He enters the martial world seeking only vengeance for his family and master. When he enters it again, he takes up his sword to defend the pure martial world his master spoke of, severing the court's attempts to infiltrate and exploit it. A third time, and for the last time, he makes the entire realm understand what the martial world is, and what it means to have a martial artist's spirit.

He never wanted to become a madman. It was simply the times that forced him to draw his sword! In the end, he realizes that what he sought was the martial world each person carries in their heart. The martial world has never been in the vastness of the world, but in a single sword, half a blade, and the heart of each person!
