Ruling the Two Realms: Immortals, Martial Arts, and Onmyoji

"Have you heard?"

"Heard what?"

"That monster at Old Zhang's place at the end of the village went out today!"

"What? Is that true?"

"Of course! Several villagers saw it when they passed the village entrance!"

"Old Zhang moved here eighteen years ago, hasn't he? That monster's never been outside!"

"Good heavens, this is serious! I heard that monster eats people and has a head this big..."

The woman gestures with her hands. It's about as big as a millstone!

"Then let's go home and keep an eye on the kids. We can't let it snatch them away!"

"That can't be right. I heard its waist was this thick..."

Another woman gestures with her hands, showing a waist as thick as a sack.

"Wrong, wrong, you're all wrong..."

A man comes over and whispers conspiratorially:

"A few years ago, I passed by their house and peeked inside through a crack in the door. Its legs were this thick..."
