The Brilliant Detective of Bizarre Cases

The brilliant detective Shen Dashan dies in a fateful battle with his archenemy. At the time, the Underworld is holding an emergency meeting. Recently, the quality of Granny Meng's soup at the Bridge of Helplessness has been poor, leaving some souls with memories of their past lives only partly erased. They have taken revenge for their grievances, causing quite a stir. Though the situation was suppressed and the unrest subsided, some souls, intimidated by severe punishments, have held back for now, while others have resorted to more subtle methods of committing crimes.

To deal with this, a brilliant detective must be sent to the human world to solve cases most likely committed or influenced by spirits. The assignment will last three months. If he proves capable by the end of that period, he will be allowed to return and given thirty extra years of life.

And so, bizarre cases involving both the living and the dead are thrust before Shen Dashan. With extraordinary skill and exceptional intelligence, he solves them one by one, leaving everyone in awe!
