Forest Ranger Diaries: A Giant Panda Latches Onto Me from the Start

Fed up with the 996 grind in the city, Liang Lei quits his job and returns to his hometown to become a forest ranger.

He obtains a family-inherited Qilin jade pendant. Not only can he understand animals, he can also transform water into spiritual water and enhance animals' intelligence.

Liang Lei thinks he can finally enjoy a leisurely life, but little does he know...

On his first day patrolling the forest, he comes across a wild husky.

The husky helps Liang Lei carry water while wagging its tail at him. "Just give me something to eat, and I'll do whatever you want!"

On his second day patrolling, he encounters a wild giant panda with a "hyperactivity disorder."

The giant panda, Lingyan, clings to Liang Lei's leg. "I don't care! You gave me a name, so you have to take responsibility for me!"

On the third day of patrol,

Liang Lei catches a wild boar trying to sneak a bite of his watermelon.

The boar captain: "Since I've eaten your food, I'm yours from now on!"

And so, more and more animals gather at Liang Lei's home.

Squirrels, parrots, monkeys...

Watching the giant panda Lingyan mooching off him in his backyard,

Liang Lei is dumbfounded!

Help! A giant panda has made itself at home in my house.
