The Gentle Iron Rod

Among the monsters Sun Wukong fought were many female demons. In the original story, Wukong was innocent, earnest, loyal, and deeply devoted to his friends, with a fiery temper. He was a rather headstrong figure, but that personality did not seem suited to getting by in the Celestial Court. Later, he became a Buddha and rarely appeared in public, suggesting he had achieved a spiritual transformation.

So, taking these changes into account, I have reworked his personal history and given his personality, temper, and scheming a more fitting treatment. A completely different Wukong should emerge, and the female demons who fought him will also come back to life, vivid and lively. This book tells a new story of the Three Battles with the White Bone Demon.

A loosely adapted Journey to the West and all-new battles are what set this book apart.
