Qi Tongwei: I, Qi the Great Sage, Stand with Guanyin

Qi Tongwei swallowed a gun and took his own life at Lone Eagle Ridge. When he opened his eyes again, he was in Journey to the West, and had become the Great Sage Equal to Heaven Sun Wukong.

As a modern man well-versed in Journey to the West, Qi Tongwei knew that the so-called Journey to the West was merely a chess game set up in the struggle between the Buddhist and Daoist factions of the East and West.

But born proud and aloof, how could he be content to serve as a pawn for others to manipulate?

Just then, he activated the Outwit Heaven by Half a Move System. As long as he recklessly derailed the plot, he could earn all sorts of rewards, including divine arts and elixirs!

On Flower-Fruit Mountain, Guanyin, disguised as a female monkey, earnestly urged him: "Why not visit an immortal mountain and ancient cave, find a master, and learn the way to eternal life?"

Qi Tongwei saw through her at a glance. "As a demon king, there's nothing wrong with taking concubines to fill out my harem, right? You're the one! Go shave off all your monkey fur!"

Monkey Guanyin: "???"

"I, Qi Tongwei, the Great Sage Qi, will outwit Heaven by half a move!"
