I'm an Honest Official, So Isn't Robbing the Rich to Help the Poor Only Fair?

After accidentally transmigrating into a high-martial world, Shen Qingzhou has no choice but to line his own pockets and abuse his power in order to survive.

But beneath this façade of corruption, he spends every last coin on helping the common people, holding nothing back.

Though he bears a reputation for wrongdoing, he quietly works for the good of the world.

Empress: My dear minister, I understand all the grievances you've suffered.

Talented beauty: My lord, no matter how the outside world misunderstands you, I will stand by your side and fight with you, through life and death.

Chivalrous heroine: If you want to lay a finger on Lord Shen, you'll have to step over my dead body first!

Civil and military officials: He's clearly a corrupt official. Why are you all protecting him so fiercely?
