Genshin Impact: A Terrible-Luck Player Quits, and All of Teyvat Goes Up in Flames

Ten-pull: Eye of Perception! Ten-pull: The Bell!

85 pulls on the standard banner: Skyward Atlas! 86 pulls on the limited banner: Qiqi at C49!

"..."

Xia Ye, the ultimate unlucky player, had been playing Genshin Impact. Every ten-pull brought fresh misery, and every guaranteed five-star went to the same standard character. At last, he snapped and quit in a fit of rage.

The news spread, and all of Teyvat panicked.

They say luck balances out, but Xia Ye had no idea that all along, he had been shouldering the burden for Teyvat!

One day after he quit, a major earthquake struck Mondstadt.

Two days after he quit, a devastating snowstorm hit Liyue.

Three days after he quit, as if in response to his shattered state of mind, bizarre explosions occurred at the Temple of the Thousand Winds in Mondstadt, Jueyun Karst in Liyue, Tatarasuna in Inazuma, and elsewhere.

A space-time tunnel was also mysteriously blasted open.

That night, a Cocogoat appeared in front of Xia Ye.

"For Liyue's sake, please... let me keep playing Genshin Impact with you, okay?"
