Hou Liangping, Who Exactly Has Your Back in Handong?

After transmigrating to a parallel world, Zhao Ruihu becomes the only son of Zhao Mengsheng, a mighty general who protects the nation. He goes to a poor county in Handong to undergo a succession assessment, only to catch the attention of Hou Liangping and Sha Ruijin.

Sha Ruijin suspects Zhao Ruihu is Zhao Lichun's son. He believes Zhao Ruihu's astonishing achievements must be the product of abusing power, with some shady backroom deal behind them, so he orders Hou Liangping to investigate him.

"Zhao Ruihu, you're suspected of embezzlement, prostitution, and keeping a mistress. You're under arrest." Hou Liangping arrests Zhao Ruihu and throws him in jail.

Hou Liangping thinks that once he arrests Zhao Ruihu, he can easily join the Sha Gang! But what he never expects is that the bigwigs in the capital are furious when they hear Zhao Ruihu has been arrested.

That day,

a super bigwig arrives in Handong, launching a counterterrorism operation as fighter jets blot out the sky and head for Jingzhou.

Sha Ruijin and Hou Liangping are stunned. "What? The military is conducting a counterterrorism operation? Is Zhao Ruihu's father really Zhao Lichun?"

Zhao Ruihu presses a sniper rifle to Hou Liangping's forehead. "You framed me? Arrested me?"
