Officer, You’re Really Unprofessional. You Catch Ghosts as Well as Thieves

Chen Jiu transmigrated to a parallel world and became a police officer, but awakened the Taoist System.

On his first day at work, he spotted a bag snatcher. When Mr. Good Guy caught the thief and returned the bag to its owner, Chen Jiu noticed something suspicious.

The thief had a life on his hands.

The woman who owned the bag looked a lot like the wife of the boss his good buddy was undercover with.

Mr. Good Guy had calloused palms and badly worn fingerprints. One glance was enough to tell he was a gunman.

In the end, Chen Jiu took all three of them back to the police station.

Gradually, he discovered that the station had a number of unsolved cases that had gone cold and been buried away. After looking into them one by one, Chen Jiu uncovered a shocking possibility: they were the work of evil spirits...

Female ghost: "Officer, you're really unprofessional. I get arresting thieves, but why are you arresting ghosts too?"

One day, after moving from a township police post to the city and then to the provincial level, a reporter asked:

"Director Chen, you're so young, yet you've become head of the Provincial Public Security Department. What's your secret?"

Chen Jiu smiled. "When you take any profession to its peak, you'll find that every walk of life has its champions."
