Infinite Anime Worlds: I Awakened Superpowers at Eighteen

"After I turned eighteen, I awakened a superpower that lets me control luck."

"That's amazing. So you can win as many prizes as you want in the lottery?"

"Not exactly. The ability has one flaw: however much good luck you gain, you'll definitely get an equal amount of bad luck."

"Oh, I see..."

"But I can transfer the bad luck to other people. For example, last week I won 500,000 yen in the lottery, and a guy who was mugging someone on the street got hit by a motorcycle and broke his leg while trying to escape."

"I see. And what about today?"

"Today, after watching Spider-Man with a friend at the cinema, I thought men should be like that, so I wished to have the same abilities as a superhero."

In the interrogation room of the Special Incident Investigation Bureau, the female investigator continued questioning him with a recorder in hand:

"So, is that why you showed up at the cult's sacrificial ritual?"
