You Were Asked to Look After an Old Man, but You Taught Him to Play Video Games

Wang Xuan transmigrates to a parallel world and joins a show about young people keeping the elderly company.

The other contestants spend their time accompanying their grandparents to watch Peking opera, go sightseeing, and reminisce about the old days.

Wang Xuan, on the other hand, takes his grandpa gaming, shopping online, and ordering takeout, introducing him to the lifestyle of young people.

Wang Xuan: Grandpa, are you bored? I'll teach you how to play games.

Wang Xuan pulls out his laptop, and his grandfather's calloused fingers begin tapping on the keyboard.

When Wang Xuan's dad comes home, he can't find the old man anywhere in the house.

Then he spots him hiding under the covers, clutching the laptop and wearing headphones as he plays away. The old man's son's face turns green.

Netizens: We told you to keep the old man company, and you taught him to play games?

"Are you sure this won't give him presbyopia?"

"You ruined a variety show made by the Central TV channel."

Wang Xuan: Grandma, don't cook today. I'll order takeout for you.

As Grandma eats burgers, fries, and milk tea, her dentures fly out from all the chewing.

"What kind of bland, miserable food have we been living on all these years?"
