We Crowdfunded Research, and You, Hou Liangping, Are Accusing Me of Fraud?

Li Mu transmigrates into the world of television dramas. Just as he achieves fame and success, someone reports him for corruption, taking bribes, and using projects at state-owned enterprises to raise funds illegally and commit fraud.

While Li Mu is away on a secret assignment, an investigation team led by Hou Liangping suddenly arrives, armed with a warrant.

"Li Mu is guilty of corruption and bribery. A huge sum of money has been found hidden in his home, and he owns enormous assets of unexplained origin. The evidence is conclusive. Li Mu is also missing, so it's obvious he's fled to escape punishment!"

After a cursory investigation, Hou Liangping reaches his verdict and seizes all of Li Mu's assets.

Just as Hou Liangping is imagining the glory of a job well done, the supposedly "missing" Li Mu suddenly returns.

"I hear you, Hou Liangping, seized all my assets while I was away on a business trip to the moon. Now you're planning to seize my company too. You'd better give me an explanation," Li Mu says, looking down at Hou Liangping.

Hou Liangping sees the laser cannons, humanoid combat robots, and aerospace fighters on display in the factory compound, along with a host of leading scientists and military representatives. His knees buckle, and he drops to the ground.

Hou Liangping, who led the operation, panics. Sha Ruijin, who was pulling the strings behind the scenes, panics too...
