Battle at Taiping Lake

In the 1930s and 1940s, the southern Anhui guerrillas, under the leadership of Zhu Tianfei and others, moved to southern Anhui areas such as Jingxian, Taiping, Tunxi, and Nanling. They were so mysterious and unexpected that they repelled the attacks of the Japanese and the Kuomintang mobilization forces again and again, and won victory after victory.
