Honghuang: Lord of All Spirits

A primordial being who should never have appeared in the world unexpectedly awakens with the arrival of a visitor from another realm.

Here,

The Three Pure Ones embrace nature;

The Dao Ancestor schemes at every turn, but still can't escape a beating;

Nuwa has her hands full worrying about her carefree elder brother;

Wangshu is an aloof shut-in, inexperienced in the ways of the world and often tricked;

and so on.

Here, there are also ferocious beasts, the Three Clans, the Demonic Path, the Wu and Yao Clans...

The mighty beings here all start out as blank slates. They only learn new things after being repeatedly beaten down by reality.

In the Primordial World, learning is always the main theme.

This, too, is a story about learning.

And the story begins with a single ding!
