Forest Patrol Diaries: From the Start, I Rode an Elephant

He discovers an ancient jade pendant in his inheritance and gains the ability to commune with nature and animals.

He specifically seeks out a job as a forest ranger,

then heads to the Ailao Mountain forest reserve in Yunnan Province, eager to embrace a life immersed in nature.

Who could have guessed?

On his very first day, he rides an elephant and leads a herd of wild Asian elephants on their migration.

The elephants are baffled: A forest ranger can understand what elephants are saying??

On the second day, an ostrich carries the ranger on its back as it patrols the forest,

and its chick refuses to leave him, too.

"We want juice, so we're sticking with you!!"

On the third day, he takes a stray dog to drive off wild boars.

The boars protest: "Are you looking down on me? Even a tiny poodle is yapping at me??"

The number of animals he takes in keeps growing, and the variety of species keeps expanding.

Life in the vast forest is both fulfilling and challenging.

He helps special police officers capture drug traffickers,

leads animals in fighting off poachers,

and develops scenic areas to boost the local economy...
