You Want Me to Leave Wuthering Waves? You'll Regret It When I Make Honkai: Star Rail

Liu Wei transmigrates into the role of lead gameplay designer for Wuthering Waves, but gets fired on the eve of its public launch.

The other departments: "Boss, you've cut the artery with those layoffs!"

The boss: "Then you can all get out with him!"

After Wuthering Waves launches, problems crop up one after another in a game that had initially received a decent response.

The writing is version 1.0-tier, every gacha pull hits hard pity in a shameless cash grab, the graphics are crude and tacky, and the stuttering and overheating are even worse!

There are even reports of overseas players' privacy being leaked!

Players: "Kuro's boss must have lost his mind. Those layoffs cut the artery!"

Meanwhile, MiHoYo bursts onto the scene, creating Honkai: Star Rail from the start.

Players who were already unhappy with Wuthering Waves all go play Honkai: Star Rail instead.

Honkai: Star Rail has polished graphics, balanced gameplay, and one wave of player rewards after another. It's a game that truly puts its players first.

Finance Department: "Boss, go beg them to come back! Without them, Wuthering Waves can't even beat Honkai: Star Rail. We won't have enough revenue to pay salaries!"

Liu Wei: "Huh? You want me to come back? I'm the boss of MiHoYo!"

The boss: "?"
