Mantis Evolution: Starting in a Tokyo Laboratory

Duan Chen transmigrates to a parallel world, becomes a mantis, and is sold to a secret research facility in Tokyo.

The Japanese launch a survival-of-the-fittest program to breed super soldiers.

Thousands of insects fight to the death, and the winning insect king receives an injection of super serum.

The competition is also livestreamed to the entire nation.

But the Japanese don't know that Duan Chen is bound to a System. As long as he gains joy or fear points, he can exchange them for System items.

Amid the live audience's cries of astonishment, Duan Chen grows stronger without limit.

Indestructible body, exchange!

Enhanced claws, exchange!

Flight, exchange!

Only after the competition ends do the Japanese realize what kind of monster they have raised.
