God of Song, Stop Retiring: At Sixty, Your Best Days Are Just Beginning

Chen Qing transmigrates to a parallel world and becomes a legendary singer who retired from the Chinese entertainment industry thirty years ago.

At the same time,

a competition called Singer is airing to great fanfare, open to singers from both China and abroad.

But this music competition hosted in China has seen foreign singers sweep the field.

They keep winning, showing nothing but contempt for Chinese music.

Chen Qing receives invitations from the singers and their fans.

"Legend, stop living like a retiree! Sixty is the perfect age to take on the world!"

Chen Qing smiles and takes the stage.

What stuns everyone is that, despite how important the competition is, Chen Qing keeps performing new songs.

With "Blue and White Porcelain," he wins this week's competition and takes home the annual Song of the Year award!

With "Rice Fragrance," he racks up five billion plays at home and abroad, setting a new record for the music industry!

With "In the Name of the Father," he takes Chinese rap to the pinnacle of the world!

The singers and fans are stunned: "We asked you to compete, and you're treating this like a new album showcase?"

From then on,

everyone from young mothers to college girls becomes a devoted fan of Chen Qing.
