The Army Has No Mechs, So What Does That Have to Do with Me, a Firefighter?

Chen Chen transmigrated to a parallel world and became a member of the equipment management department of the Fire and Rescue Corps.

On his first day, he received an assignment from his superior: recycle fire extinguishers nearing their expiration date and put them to new use.

So he put his mind to work and started adding things together.

"Fire extinguisher + steel pipe + car = ?"

A few days later, his superiors inspected the equipment and fell silent at the sight of the long-range rocket launcher before them.

"A range of 600, vertical launch, satellite guidance, and thermobaric warheads. How is this firefighting equipment?"

Chen Chen: "The fastest way to put out a fire is to start a much bigger one. That's perfectly logical, right?"

From then on, the Corps' approach to firefighting became increasingly bizarre.

Water cannon + tank tracks = electromagnetic firefighting tank!

Firefighting drone + bombs = multirole strike and bomber aircraft!

Obstacle-clearing vehicle + mechanical arms = ???

Seeing the firefighting mecha nearly finished, nobody could sit still.

"At least repaint it red!"

"That firefighting ship is ridiculous. What are those planes on the deck for?"

"Sure, I understand how rain can put out fires, but what the heck is this lightning storm?"
