Bright Sword: I Keep Offering Poisonous Schemes, and Old Li Tells Me to Calm Down

Zhao Bei transmigrates into the world of The Bright Sword. From the start, he activates the Toxic Stratagem System and becomes political commissar of Li Yunlong’s regiment.

Li Yunlong thinks the higher-ups have sent him another sour-faced scholar. Little does he know that this commissar is not only more ruthless than him, but even more devious!

Zhao Bei comes up with one vicious stratagem after another. From the start, he blows up a civilian reservoir, flooding the Sakata Regiment!

When facing the enemy, he piles the corpses of dead Japanese soldiers into a small mountain, shattering their morale and making them collapse without a fight.

And that’s not all...

With every vicious stratagem he presents, not only do the Japanese tremble in fear, but even his own men are afraid of him!

The brigade commander: "Hey, I hear your Independent Regiment has made a fortune. Heh heh... What? You’re not Li Yunlong? You’re Zhao Bei? Oh, no matter. I was just asking if your regiment needs any equipment."

Zhang Dabiao: "I could just about put up with a regiment commander who keeps disobeying orders on the battlefield. Now we’ve got an even more outrageous commissar. There’s no way I can stay in this Independent Regiment!"

As the troops besiege Ping’an County, their attacks fail. Zhao Bei slowly raises his hand. "I have a plan..."

Li Yunlong panics. "Ahem, Lao Zhao, keep calm. It hasn’t come to that yet... My wife is still up there!"
