Selling Blind Boxes in Journey to the West: The Gods Can't Handle It

After transmigrating into the world of Journey to the West, Chu Feng transforms into a small-time shopkeeper who sells mystery boxes.

The boxes may contain ordinary knickknacks, or rare treasures that even the immortals covet.

At first, his little mystery-box shop is unknown. Then one day, a monkey doing under-the-table work for Chu Feng opens a box and finds a primordial purple aura.

That day, the Three Realms tremble, and a Sage arrives in person!

Chu Feng's mystery-box shop instantly becomes the hottest place around. Gods and Buddhas flock to it, even going mad over the boxes.

The Tathagata empties Spirit Mountain and forgets all about the Journey to the West, intent only on drawing the primordial purple aura he has long dreamed of from a mystery box and becoming a Sage in one stroke.

The Jade Emperor descends to the mortal realm nine times and opens 9,999 Supreme Mystery Boxes, squandering the entire Heavenly Court treasury.

The Grand Supreme Elderly Lord not only loses all the pills in the Tusita Palace, but also winds up deep in debt. Chu Feng confines him and makes him refine pills day and night to pay it off.

And so, all the wealth and resources of the Three Realms end up in Chu Feng's hands...
