Three Kingdoms: Comparing Our Sons, Liu Bei Gets Jealous

At the end of the Eastern Han dynasty, the realm is in chaos.

A sky screen comparing parallel worlds appears, revealing the utterly different lives of two Liu Shans.

Liu Bei looks at the Liu Shan on the screen, whose achievements surpass even Emperor Wu of Han. His name is celebrated for a thousand autumns and remembered for ten thousand generations, and he is hailed as the one and only Taizong of the ages.

Then Liu Bei glances at the Liu Shan beside him, who only cares about eating, drinking, and having fun, surrendering the city and finding so much pleasure in Shu that he forgets to return. He starts wondering if he can trade one son for another.

Zhuge Liang looks at the Liu Shan on the left, then at himself: all five of his northern campaigns failed because Liu Shan wouldn't fully supply grain and military equipment, leaving him so frustrated that he died vomiting blood.

Then he looks at the Liu Shan on the right, who respectfully calls him Father Chancellor and, after his death, grants him the posthumous title "Chancellor for the Ages."

The same thought comes to mind: could he go assist an emperor who would revive Han, like Taizong Liu Shan?

The Qiaos, Ma Chao, Xun Yu, Xu Shu, and others look at Taizong Liu Shan, who gave them the chance to show their talents and brought their lives to a fitting end.

They have the same thought. They want to follow an emperor like Taizong Liu Shan, too.

Only Liu Shan and Cao Cao doubt themselves: "Was I really that bad?"
